Thinking Outside the Box- Hooper Decor- Home and Style Find!

What’s New for 2012? Well with a New Year comes new styles and the survey has it that “Vintage is in”. Many of the new styles that our distributors are offering are geared towards a more retro feel to tell a story in itself. It’s all about the look, and fashion is always changing, so keep up with the trends and contact us for the latest styles for this year.
J-America is an up and coming distributor that has some amazing styles to check out.

The Adult Vintage Long Sleeve Thermal Tee has contrast flatlock stitching that gives it a unique look. Great for layering under any short sleeve shirt or under your favorite puffer vest! Colors available are Vintage white, Charcoal Heather, and Black (as shown).

The next style is an Adult Vintage Zen Hooded Pullover Fleece that is acid-washed with silicone finish giving it that “old school” feel that it has below. Its lightweight material is a great option for any sports team warm-up sweatshirt. Colors available are Cement ( as shown) , Dark Smoke and Vintage Navy.

Another J America piece is the J-America Adult Vintage Solid Fleece Track Jacket. The jacket is enzyme-washed and has a nice high collar to keep you insulated. It’s a 9.75oz. jacket that is not only heavyweight, but comfortable to wear. This piece can even be worn decorated to a casual outing or corporate semi-formal business event. As many of you may know most of the common apparel is not made in the USA. This is a concern to many of our customers as well it should be. It could also be looked at as a way to help boost the economic recovery.  Many manufacturers, such as “Bayside” and “Union Made” for example, use “USA Made” and “Made in the U.S.A “ as a selling point. Many American companies, to cut their costs, have outsourced their manufacturing operations off shore where labor is cheaper. This is one prime reason many Americans are wary about purchasing goods that are not solely American made. The concern rises that the US has lost both industrial capacity and manufacturing jobs, or the exploitation of non-American workers in sweatshops.   A garment bearing “Made in the U.S.A. “ is better quality proving that you get what you pay for!

One word of advice: Watch out for the terminology!  “Made in the U.S.A”  and “U.S.A Made” can be very different terms: For example Anvil added a “USA Made” Tee which denotes that the garment is assembled in the US but is made from Imported Fabrics; essentially this is not 100% American made. Bayside however offers a “Made in the U.S.A”  Tee which is truly made in the USA of domestically grown cotton!

Event: <3 Hearts for Hope Foundation: Race for a Cure

 When: November 26th, 2011
Where: Mansfield High School, 250 East St. Mansfield, MA
Details: The 3.1 mile Run/Walk was coordinated by the students and teachers of Mansfield High School. All proceeds are donated to the Hearts for Hope Foundation to help those with Cystic Fibrosis have a better quality of life. More than 30,000 children and adults are affected by this generic disease. ESP Solutions is proud to be one of the sponsors for these T-shirts.
*The run/walk starts at 10:00am but day of registrations opens at 8:00am, with a post-race celebration after. Please come and support this event. All are welcome!

The hosts Focused and Simple Business Solutions will be donating 10% of the ticket proceeds to the Hockomock YMCA’s Reach Out For Youth and Families Campaign.  According to the YMCA’s website: “In 2010 the Reach Out For Youth and Families provided more than $1.1 million in confidential scholarship assistance and program subsidies to over 15,000 local children, adults, and families.” 

“We wanted to partner with a local charity that would give back to the community,” said Greg De Simone, conference host.  ”The Hockomock YMCA was a natural fit.”

The Not Business As Usual Conference is an all day business development event where entrepreneurs, small business owners and business change agents in Southeastern MA and RI will gather to learn new approaches to grow their businesses.  ”Eight local experts will be sharing their insights on networking, client relationship building, social media and effective communication,” said De Simone.  ”This is an event that will stretch businesses out of their comfort zones.”
